About GO!

The Gears

Before you dive into the “nitty-gritty” of the GO! curriculum, it’s worth understanding the gears of spiritual formation that churn in the background of every lesson.

Simply put, each GO! lesson is designed to be an interactive experience that transforms kid’s minds, hearts and hands. Not only is it important for kids to know God with their minds, it’s essential that they love God and engage with Him in their hearts as well.

More than that, transformational faith involves the hands. Our faith in God should be a living and active faith, one that affects how we interact with the world around us. For this reason, the GO! lessons not only strive to help kids know and love God more (the mind and heart), they’re designed to help kids think through how to apply their faith in everyday situations (the hands).

Our Story

Okay, so here’s the story. David Rausch served with the Promiseland team at Willow Creek for 9 years. After that, he was a children’s pastor in the Lou (St. Louis, MO) for another 5. But then something nuts happened.

Here’s how it went down: God said, “Start a curriculum company.” David said, “That’s crazy!” God said, “I know.” David said, “You have the wrong guy.” God said, “I know.” David said, “You know?” God said, “I know. That’s why I picked you. It’s not about you.” David said, “Oooooh…I get it,” and then he dropped everything, assembled a team of children’s ministry ninjas, and started Mooblio Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to equipping and training children’s ministries. (Mooblio? It’s a made up word. It means “how can we help you”?)

Mooblio literally has a bazillion ideas for how it wants to serve Children’s Pastors in the future, but we have to start somewhere. That “somewhere” is the GO! curriculum. It’s chock full of Bible, it’s spiritually forming, and it’s crazy fun! Our story is just beginning and we hope that you’ll join us.

Statement of Faith

God: God is One God who exists in three persons—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, all-present, and all-loving. God is the creator of all things and all things belong to Him.

Jesus: Jesus is God, who became a person through the beautiful and mysterious conception by the Holy Spirit. He is forever both fully God and fully man. Jesus lived a sinless life that culminated in his voluntary death on a cross, which in turn satisfied God’s divine justice and made salvation available to all who trust in Christ alone. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead in his glorified body and ascended to heaven where he sits at God’s right hand, serving as a mediator between God and man.

Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit reveals Christ to the world. He convicts sinners and draws them into a new life with Jesus. From the moment of life through Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within the new believer until the day of redemption.

Salvation: Although people are sinful and therefore separated from God, God still loves us and through His eternal grace has offered us a plan of redemption through Jesus. God offers His free gift of salvation to everyone who believes that Jesus died and rose from the dead and who accept Him as their savior. Salvation through Jesus is wholly and completely a free gift and is not in any way obtained through the work or good behavior of people.

WARNING: do not put actual heart, hands, or brain in gears. Will cause damage.

Do you dare peek inside? why yes... yes I do

Large Group

The GO! large group is designed so that one person can lead the kids through the Big Bible Story of God's love and redemption. Best of all, the large group lessons are incredibly fun and engage the kids by inviting them to be a part of the story telling.

Small Group

Every GO! lesson comes with an abundance of quality small group options including small group connect activities, story discussion questions, application activities, Bible memorization activities, and group prayer activities.

GO! Home Guide

Each lesson provides kids an opportunity to quietly respond to God by recording their thoughts, prayers, and artistic talents on the GO! Home Guide. The guide provides parents with a window into their child's heart, making for incredible, "God-soaked" conversations.

Scope and Sequence

The GO! Scope and Sequence covers a total of 3 years. Each year takes kids on a chronological journey through the entire Bible, helping them to understand the meta-narrative of God's love and redemption, or as we like to call it - the Big Bible Story.
